The Wireless Sounder is compatible with collective or addressable transponders as well.
In collective mode, if the input of the transponder is activated, all Sound Outputs will also be activated due to the control signal transmitted by the transponder. The Sound Output is active as long as the input of the transponder is kept active.
The Sound Output also has a monitored input, its status is transmitted to the transponder. The contact output of the transponder is operated in parallel to the status of the Sound Output. This enables assigning an acknowledgement button or an emergency button to the system.
In addressable mode the transponder simulates the status of the sound alarm and transmits it to the fire panel via the addressable signal loop. In this mode, each wireless sound option is programmable in the same way as any wired sound alarm.
In fully monitored and active state, the Wireless Sound Output transfers 24 Volts.
The system operates at 868MHz, which is a free frequency in the European Union. |
The operating range of the devices meets all requirements. In practice, a transponder installed in the center of a building can operate in a range of four floors up and down, as well as 100 meters horizontally in buildings with concrete base and brick structure.
A field strength measuring device can be used for checking the operating range of the devices to be applied.
